Glorious sunshine bathed Johnswell for the second Campa Samhraidh Thobar na Gaeilge as 24 páiste attended the Campa for a week of spraoi, spórt agus scléip as Gaeilge.
The children from Johnswell, Muckalee, Clara and Kilkenny had fun outdoors, baking, cooking, playing sport, dancing, science, doing art, all the while improving their Gaeilge through fun activities.
The páistí again visited to Ann and Fergal in Brennan’s Shop where they practised their Gaeilge.
Liam de Lása from Glór na nGael presented the páistí with prizes and a leabhar as Gaeilge.
Camogie star and local Johnswell legend, Laura Murphy presented the páistí with their certificates and prizes, signed jerseys and answered questions using her own fluent Gaeilge.
A massive thank you went to the Johnswell Community Hall Committee, Geraldine Patterson, Príomhoide Johnswell NS and especially to Ann in Brennan’s Shop for all their help.
The biggest míle buíochas went to the fantastic páistí who made the week so enjoyable and fun, all as Gaeilge.

Tháinig laoch camógaíochta áitiúil, Laura Ní Mhurchú Dé hAoine le teastais agus duaiseanna a bhronnadh ar na páistí.
