IT WAS a good weekend for former Kilkenny senior hurling star Richie Power as his Carrickshock hurling charges had a great win over fellow South Kilkenny Club Dunnamaggin.
Powerful could easily have been Richie’s reply to anyone who may have asked him how he felt putting one over on his neighbours in his position of gaffer with the ‘Shock Intermediate team.
The game was hard fought and interesting to the finish and the final score was 2-15 to 1-14.
